Text
§252. Department of Veterans Affairs
A.There is established in the state government a Department of Veterans Affairs,
the administrative head of which is the state secretary of the department.
B.In the department there is established a veterans' affairs commission.
C.The legislature shall provide adequate appropriations to enable the department to
carry out effectively the purposes of this Part.
D.The domicile of the department shall be in Baton Rouge, where suitable offices
shall be provided.
