§791. Commissioner of alcohol and tobacco control; establishment,
commissioner, term
There is hereby created and established within the Department of
Revenue, as an administrative unit thereof, the office of alcohol and tobacco
control, the head of which shall be the commissioner who shall also be the
assistant secretary of the office of alcohol and tobacco control, appointed by
the governor with the advice and consent of the Senate of Louisiana to serve
at his pleasure. The commissioner shall be a full-time employee and shall
receive an appropriate salary as fixed by the governor.
