§936. Registry A.

(1)The office of behavioral health of the Louisiana Department of Health, with the advice of the council, shall, through contract, establish and maintain a registry of individuals who provide mental health or medical services for rehabilitation of sex offenders.
(2)The office, upon recommendation and advice of the council, by rule, shall develop procedures and eligibility requirements for registration.
(3)The office, upon recommendation and advice of the council, may establish a reasonable fee for registration to cover the costs of administering the registry.
(4)The office shall be responsible to have prepared annually a list of the treatment providers registered under this Section. The council, by rule, shall establish procedures for developing and distributing the li
