§47. Revocation of certificate and commission Any certificate of competency and commission as a boiler inspector may be revoked by the secretary for misconduct, or untrustworthiness on the part of the holder thereof, or for wilful falsification of any matter or statement contained in his application, or in any report prepared by him; but the holder of the certificate of competency and commission shall first be entitled to a hearing before the secretary to show cause why such certificate and commission should not be revoked.
