§258. Travelling theatrical companies; application of provisions The provisions of this Part shall not be construed as preventing a minor under sixteen years of age employed by a travelling theatrical company, from taking part in a play or musical comedy produced by such company in a theatre wherein not more than eight performances are given in any one week, (except in a week in which a national or state holiday occurs when nine weekly performances may be given), if a special permit for such employment is obtained from the secretary by the manager of the theatre in which the minor is to appear.
