§2199. Responsibility of the board

A.A board is directly responsible and accountable to the office of workforce development for the planning and oversight of all workforce training and services and the evaluation of all workforce development programs in its workforce development area. A board shall develop and regularly upgrade performance measures to assess the effectiveness of workforce training and employment in its area to ensure outcomes consistent with statewide goals, objectives, and performance standards established by the department.
B.A board is directly responsible to the office of workforce development for the operational planning and administration of all workforce training and services funded in its area through the department.
