§2194. Training for local workforce development board members

A.The office of workforce development shall provide management, diversity, and board development training for all members of local workforce development boards that includes information regarding the importance of high-quality workforces to the economic prosperity of their communities and encourages board members to be advocates in their communities for effective and efficient workforce development programs. Such training shall also include instruction regarding the certification of business/career solution centers and state ethics laws.
