Text

A policy may contain additional provisions, which are not inconsistent with this Code, and which are either:

(1)Required to be inserted by the laws of the insurer's state of domicile.
(2)Necessary, on account of the manner in which the insurer is constituted or operated, to state the rights and obligations of the parties to the contract. NOTE: Former R.S. 22:865 redesignated as R.S. 22:616 by Acts 2008, No. 415, §1, eff. Jan. 1, 2009.
