§481. Purpose; title

A.The purpose of this Subpart shall be to regulate the formation and operation of risk retention groups in Louisiana, formed pursuant to the provisions of the federal Risk Retention Amendments of 1986, as amended.

B.This Subpart shall be known and may be cited as the "Risk Retention Group Law". Acts 1987, No. 462, §1, eff. Sept. 1, 1987; Redesignated from R.S. 22:2071 by Acts 2008, No. 415, §1, eff. Jan. 1, 2009; Acts 2009, No. 503, §1.
