§2381. Interstate Insurance Product Regulation Compact; Louisiana's participation The Interstate Insurance Product Regulation Compact, the full text of which is set forth and confirmed by the Louisiana Legislature, is hereby entered into on behalf of the state of Louisiana. The compact shall become effective when enacted into law by at least two states. The full text of said compact is as follows: The purposes of this Interstate Insurance Product Regulation Compact are, through means of joint and cooperative action among the Compacting States:

(1)To promote and protect the interest of consumers of individual and group annuity, life insurance, disability income and long-term care insurance products;
(2)To develop uniform standards for insurance products covered under the Compact;
