§2367. Authorized insurers
Although a surplus lines insurer may apply for a grant, the insurer shall obtain a
certificate of authority to do business in Louisiana before it may receive the grant funding.
The commissioner may reallocate funds allocated to a surplus lines insurer if it does not
apply on a timely basis, as specified in the regulations, or is not approved for a certificate of
authority.
