§ 22:1835 — Regulations; applicability

§1835. Regulations; applicability
A.The commissioner may promulgate such rules and regulations as may be
necessary or proper to carry out the provisions of this Subpart. Such rules and regulations
shall be promulgated and adopted in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act.
B.A health insurance issuer that contracts, subcontracts, or arranges with another
entity for the provision of any services related to payment of claims, including but not limited
to a third-party administrator or a network of providers, shall be responsible for compliance
with all provisions of this Subpart.
C.The provisions of this Part shall not supersede the provisions of Subpart C of Part
II of this Chapter.
