A.Each person acting as a viatical settlement broker, viatical settlement provider, or viatical settlement investment agent, including but not limited to licensed insurance producers acting as viatical settlement brokers pursuant to the authority granted by R.S. 22:1792(A)(1), shall file with the commissioner on or before March first of each year an annual statement containing such information as the commissioner may prescribe by regulation. Such information shall be limited to those transactions where the viator is a resident of this state.
