Text

In the event the commissioner deems it necessary to take any legal step or to file any suit or other proceedings to carry out the provisions of this Subpart, he shall have the right to employ an attorney for said purpose, provided the fees to be paid said attorney shall be approved by the attorney general. It shall be the duty of the attorney general to render advice to the commissioner upon request. NOTE: Former R.S. 22:1478 redesignated as R.S. 22:1271 by Acts 2008, No. 415, §1, eff. Jan. 1, 2009.
