§1071. Enforcement provisions A. Health insurance issuers that issue, sell, renew, or offer health insurance coverage in this state in the small or large group markets shall meet the requirements of this Subpart with respect to such issuers. B. The commissioner of insurance shall enforce the provisions of this Subpart and is authorized to enter into agreements with the federal government for enforcement of federal statutes, rules, policy issuances, and guidelines insofar as they relate to the issuance, sale, renewal, and offering of health insurance coverage in connection with group health plans.
