Text
The secretary or any person designated by the secretary may hold investigations, inquiries, and hearings concerning matters covered by the provisions of this Chapter, and all accidents in aeronautics, except for aircraft registration, identification, equipment, and enforcement delegated to the Department of Public Safety and Corrections. All hearings conducted in accordance with the provisions of this Section shall be open to the public. The secretary, and every person designated by him to hold any inquiry, investigation, or hearing may administer oaths and affirmations, certify to all official acts, issue subpoenas, compel the attendance and testimony of witnesses, and the production of papers, books, and documents.
