§ 17:365 — Audit

Louisiana·Title 17 Credit Union Law
No application for reimbursement under this Part shall be approved except upon such audit of vouchers or other documents by the superintendent as is necessary to insure that such payment is lawful and proper. The legislative auditor may from time to time examine, in accordance with the provisions of R.S. 24:513, any and all accounts and records of a school which have been maintained pursuant to this Part in support of an application for reimbursement, for the purpose of determining the cost to such school of rendering the services referred to in R.S. 17:361. If after such audit it is determined that any school has received funds in excess of the actual cost of providing such services, such school shall immediately reimburse the state in such excess amount.
