Text

A. There is hereby established a two-year institution of higher education which shall be located in East Baton Rouge Parish and shall be known as the Baton Rouge Community College. B.

(1)The community college established in Subsection A of this Section shall be under the control, supervision, and management of the Board of Supervisors of Community and Technical Colleges. The community college shall have such operating authority and limitations as is determined by the board.
(2)The provisions of this Section are intended to undertake compliance with the pertinent portions of the settlement agreement entered into by the parties on November 14, 1994, to United States of America v. State of Louisiana, et al. , Civil Action No. 80-3300, United States District Court for the Eastern District. NO
