Text
The Orleans Parish School Board may make annual appropriations out of any of its funds to the teachers' retirement fund of the public schools of the parish; these appropriations shall not be less than Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00) each year. The board may make additional appropriations to be used as a special fund for such teachers who are aged or infirm as are, under the laws in effect on July 26, 1922, receiving less than Twenty-Five Dollars ($25.00) a month.
