§144. Additional salary of district attorney The district attorney for the Fifth Judicial District of this state shall receive as compensation for his services, in addition to the salary paid him by the state of Louisiana, an annual salary of seven thousand four hundred dollars, payable monthly on his own warrant, by the parishes comprising the Fifth Judicial District, apportioned as follows:

(1)By the parish of Franklin, the sum of two thousand seven hundred dollars per annum.
(2)By the parish of Richland, the sum of two thousand seven hundred dollars per annum.
(3)By the parish of West Carroll, the sum of two thousand dollars per annum.
