Text

A.

(1)In all criminal cases, including traffic offenses, of which the Twelfth Judicial District Court has jurisdiction, there shall be assessed as additional costs against every defendant who is convicted after trial or who pleads guilty or forfeits bond, the sum of seven dollars and fifty cents to be collected by the sheriff of Avoyelles Parish for further disposition in accordance with the provisions of this Section. These costs shall be in addition to all other fines, costs, or forfeitures provided for by law.
(2)In addition to all other fees or costs now or hereafter provided by law, the clerk of court of the Twelfth Judicial District Court shall collect from every person the sum of ten dollars for every civil filing to be transmitted to the Avoyelles Parish Sheriff's Office for furth
