§847. Fees in criminal cases; exceptions A. In addition to other fees fixed by law, the clerks of the several district courts throughout the state of Louisiana shall be entitled to demand and receive the following fees:

(1)(a) In criminal misdemeanor cases involving traffic offenses under Title 32 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950 when, as a part of the sentence imposed the accused is ordered to pay court costs, in addition to other costs authorized by law or local court rule as of August 15, 2010, the sum of five dollars shall be assessed, collected, and paid over to the clerk of court by the sheriff.
(b)In all other criminal misdemeanor cases when, as a part of the sentence imposed the accused is ordered to pay court costs, the sum of fifty dollars shall be assessed, collected,
