§2499. Quarters, furniture, and stationery; police detail
The city of New Orleans shall provide suitable rooms, furniture, stationery, and other
operating expenses for the Municipal and Traffic Court of New Orleans, and the Orleans
Parish Sheriff's Office, the city constable, or department of police of the city of New Orleans
shall provide one officer who is P.O.S.T. certified for each division of the Municipal and
Traffic Court of New Orleans to keep order and execute orders and decrees of the judges
thereof.
