Text

In an appeal from a judgment rendered in a criminal case by the city court, the clerk, or the city judge, shall at once make a transcript of the proceedings in the case, and shall file the same in the office of the clerk of court to which the appeal is returnable. In cases where the appeal is on trial de novo, the transcript shall consist of the affidavit, the information or the indictment, as the case may be.
