§931. Implementation

A.The Board of Trustees of the Teachers' Retirement System of Louisiana shall implement the optional retirement plan no later than March 1, 1990, and the public institutions of higher education shall implement their optional retirement plans on July 1, 1990.

B.The Board of Regents, Board of Supervisors for the University of Louisiana System, Board of Supervisors of Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College, Board of Supervisors of Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College, and Board of Supervisors of Community and Technical Colleges, or their successors, and any other constitutionally established board which manages institutions of higher education shall implement their optional retirement plans no later than July 1, 1998. §931. Implementation
A. The Board of Trustees of the Teachers' Retirement System of Louisiana shall
implement the optional retirement plan no later than March 1, 1990, and the public
institutions of higher education shall implement their optional retirement plans on July 1,
1990.
B. The Board of Regents, Board of Supervisors for the University of Louisiana
System, Board of Supervisors of Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical
College, Board of Supervisors of Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical
College, and Board of Supervisors of Community and Technical Colleges, or their
successors, and any other constitutionally established board which manages institutions of
higher education shall implement their optional retirement plans no later than July 1, 1998.
C. All public postsecondary education institutions not covered by Subsection A or
B of this Section shall implement their optional retirement plans no later than July 1, 2025.
