§ 11:885 — Collection of employers' contributions; procedure

Louisiana·Title 11 Consolidated Public Retirement Systems

The collection of employers' contributions on the earnable compensation of members shall be made as follows:

(1)The board of trustees shall certify to the State Department of Education, the Board of Elementary and Secondary Education, or its successors, the state treasurer, and all employers the contribution rate to be paid as employers' contributions.
(2)Immediately upon approval by the State Board of Education, or its successor, of the minimum foundation program distribution of the current fiscal year, the State Department of Education shall certify to the state treasurer the monthly amount due by each parish and city school board and each vocational-technical school and special school under its jurisdiction as the employer contribution at the rate determined and certified in Paragraph
