Text
In addition to the regular employee contribution required by law to be paid into the Louisiana State Employees' Retirement System by its members, each person covered by this Subpart who becomes a member of that system thereafter shall contribute to the system an amount equal to four percent of all salary or compensation received by him for service as a judge or as a court officer, regardless of the source of such salary or compensation. The state of Louisiana and any political subdivision or agency thereof that pays, contributes to or supplements the salary or compensation of each such person, through the office of its treasurer or other appropriate official or authority, thereafter shall contribute to the system an amount equal to nine percent of the salary or compensation paid to each pe
