Text
Prior to the formation of a consolidated rural water district, a special meeting concerning such consolidation shall be held in each district to be consolidated. All members of each such district shall be sent notice by first-class mail of the time, place and purpose of such special meeting at least ten (10) days prior thereto. A majority of the members attending such special meeting of each district to be consolidated shall first authorize the consolidation of such districts and approve the assumption and payment of all liabilities and obligations of the districts to be consolidated by the consolidated district.
