Text
Whenever a person, who has a contract under K.S.A. 82a-1305, and amendments thereto, wishes to make a withdrawal of water, such person shall so advise the director as provided in the contract. Whenever the bed of a watercourse is to be used to carry waters so released, the director shall inform the chief engineer who shall, upon four working days' notice, protect any such release. The director shall request the authorities in charge of the operation of the reservoir to make an appropriate release of water. The person for whom waters are released may conduct such waters into and along any watercourse and may withdraw or redivert the same at points specified in such person's contract, without regard to holders of water rights to the waters of the watercourse, due allowance being made for see
