§ 8-235d — Applications for licenses other than renewals; examinations; locations; issuance of license; requirements for applicant under age of eighteen years

Kansas·Ch. 8 AUTOMOBILES AND OTHER VEHICLES·Art. 2 DRIVERS' LICENSES
(a)Drivers' license examiners of the division shall accept original applications for drivers' licenses and instruction permits, as distinguished from applications for renewals of licenses, on forms prescribed by the division and also shall issue instruction permits. Drivers' license examiners of the division shall examine every applicant for a driver's license who is required by the provisions of the motor vehicle drivers' license act to be examined. Such examination shall be held in the county where the applicant resides or at a place adjacent thereto reasonably convenient to the applicant or at a location established by the secretary.
