Text

A motor vehicle dealer licensed in this state or in a state contiguous to this state, who is the owner of a truck or truck tractor which the owner desires to demonstrate under actual working conditions by having it operated by the prospective purchaser in interstate or intrastate commerce on the highways of this state, in lieu of obtaining a regular registration for such vehicle, may obtain from the division, or an agent designated by director of vehicles, a trip permit authorizing such demonstration and operation for a period of:

(a)Seventy-two hours upon making proper application and the payment of a fee of $26, on January 1, 2013, $36, on January 1, 2014, $46; or (b) fifteen days upon making proper application and the payment of a fee of $100, on January 1, 2013, $110, on January 1, 20
