Text

This state shall require a Kansas resident to secure a driver's license from the division of vehicles or its agents and to surrender any outstanding license to drive, issued by another state: Provided, however, That the out-of-state driver's license may be retained as provided in subsection (a) of K.S.A. 8-235.
