Text

It shall be the duty of every county treasurer who may receive any state, county, city, township or school-district order or warrant in payment of any taxes, or for lands sold for taxes, to endorse upon such order or warrant the date of its reception, the amount of interest allowed thereon; and no credit shall be allowed to any treasurer for any warrant or order, or any interest thereon, not so endorsed.
