§ 79-1962 — Authority for townships to levy taxes
The governing body of any township is hereby authorized and empowered to levy taxes in each year for the general fund and other township purposes, except that levies of taxes for road and noxious weed purposes shall only be levied on all taxable tangible property located outside of incorporated cities.
