§ 76-523 — State board of regents authorized to sell and convey certain land to city of Hays, Kansas; procedure; disposition of proceeds

(a)The state board of regents, on behalf of Fort Hays state university, may sell and convey to the city of Hays, Kansas all of the rights, title and interest, except any and all mineral rights, in the following tracts of real estate: That part of the North Half of Section 5, Township 14 South, Range 18 West, of the 6th Principal Meridian, Ellis County, Kansas, described as follows: Commencing at the southeast corner of the northwest quarter of said Section 5; thence on an assumed bearing of N. 00° 44' 11" E., along the east line of said northwest quarter, a distance of 170.04 feet to the point of beginning of the land to be described, said point being on the northeast side of a tract (Tract A) owned by the city of Hays, Kansas and recorded in Deed Book 180, page 714, at the Ellis county R
