The state board of regents is hereby authorized and empowered to exchange and convey the following described real estate located in Riley county, Kansas: A tract of land in lot 8 of section 18, township 10 south, range 8 east of the 6th P.M., in the city of Manhattan, Kansas, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point that is 295.55 feet south and 185.75 feet east of the northwest corner of said lot 8 in section 18, township 10 south, range 8 east of the 6th P.M.; thence north 150 feet, more or less along and parallel with the east line of the Harriet Parker tract; thence east 135.75 feet, more or less, to the northwest corner of the Harbes tract; thence south along and parallel with the west side of said Harbes tract 150 feet, more or less, to the north line of West Lara
