Text
The state board of regents is hereby authorized and empowered to purchase lots or tracts of land and any improvements thereon which are located in any of the three areas encompassed by the medical center development plan expansion area. Before paying the consideration for any such purchases of real estate the state board of regents shall secure an approval of the title and the form of the deed from the attorney general of the state. All such conveyances shall be made to the state of Kansas and shall be filed in the office of the secretary of state. All moneys credited to the Kansas university medical center development plan area account are hereby appropriated to the state board of regents for the fiscal years ending June 30, 1965, and June 30, 1966, to be used for the purposes authorized
