The state historical society is authorized and empowered to acquire by purchase, or by condemnation proceedings, certain real estate for the site of Mine Creek Historical Park, which property is located in Linn county, Kansas, and is more particularly described as follows: The east half of the N.W. quarter of Section 13, Township 22, Range 24, containing 80 acres, more or less; and the N.W. quarter of the N.W. quarter of Section 13, Township 22, Range 24, containing 40 acres, more or less.
