Text

All persons receiving service or treatment from the state hospitals, state hospitals and training centers and the Kansas neurological institute, but which persons are not admitted thereto as regular inpatients but who receive outpatient evaluation, care and treatment shall pay such charge for outpatient evaluation, care or treatment at such rates and in such amounts as the secretary for aging and disability services shall determine. The secretary for aging and disability services is hereby authorized and empowered to fix any reasonable rate, not to exceed the actual cost, for which a charge may be made for the evaluation, care and treatment of persons or patients on an outpatient basis at such institutions.
