Text

(a)Each private detective or detective agency operating as provided in this act, shall be required to keep a complete record of the business transactions of such detective or detective agency, and shall retain such records for at least three years.
(b)Upon the service of a subpoena issued by the attorney general or court order of a court of competent jurisdiction which is based on the complaint, supported by oath or affirmation and particularly describing the records and reports, any licensed private detective who is the owner, partner, director, corporate officer or custodian of records of business transactions shall give free and full opportunity to inspect the same and to inspect reports made.
