Text

(a)The Kansas citizens' committee on alcohol and other drug abuse shall be composed of 24 members appointed by the secretary for aging and disability services.
(b)In making appointments to the first committee, the secretary shall appoint 1 / 2 of the members to one-year terms and 1 / 2 of the members to two-year terms. Members first appointed to the committee shall serve for their appointed terms and until the appointment and qualification of their successors.
(c)On the expiration of any member's term of office, the secretary shall appoint a successor who shall serve for a term of two years and until such member's successor has been appointed and qualified. Any vacancy in the membership of the committee which occurs before the expiration of any member's term of office shall be filled by
