§ 75-46a01 — Employees using metropolitan transit; contract for state payment of fares; rules and regulations

Kansas·Ch. 75 STATE DEPARTMENTS; PUBLIC OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES·Art. 46a TRANSPORTATION OF STATE EMPLOYEES
In any city in which there is located an office of any state agency, department, board or commission and in which there is located a metropolitan transit authority established pursuant to K.S.A. 12-2801 et seq., the secretary of administration is hereby authorized and empowered to negotiate and enter into a contract with such transit authority to pay all or part of the fares charged for state employees riding to and from their place of employment on vehicles of such transit authority. No such payments shall be made for travel beyond the corporate limits of the city in which such transit authority is located.
