§ 75-4336 — Registration of business agents for employee organizations; application; certificate; fee; exemption

Kansas·Ch. 75 STATE DEPARTMENTS; PUBLIC OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES·Art. 43 PUBLIC OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES
(a)Every person desiring to act as a business agent for an employee organization shall first obtain a registration certificate from the secretary of state by filing an application therefor and paying a registration fee of $12.50. No person shall be issued a registration certificate unless:
(1)The applicant is a citizen of the United States;
(2)the applicant's name, address and length of residence in Kansas are stated in the application; and (3) the application is accompanied by a statement, signed by the president and secretary of the employee organization, which authorizes the applicant to act as agent for such employee organization.
(b)Unless it has been surrendered, suspended or revoked at an earlier date, the registration certificate shall be valid for the calendar year in which it
