(a)Within the limits of the appropriations therefor, the county or counties comprising the judicial district may supplement the salary of, or pay any compensation to, any district magistrate judge. Any such supplemental salary or compensation shall be deposited in the state treasury in accordance with the provisions of K.S.A. 75-4215, and amendments thereto, and shall be credited to the district magistrate judge supplemental compensation fund. Any associated employer contributions and payments with respect to such supplemental salary or compensation that are made payable under law shall be paid by the county or counties providing such supplemental salary or compensation, in addition to such supplemental salary or compensation, in the same manner and under the same conditions and requireme
