Text

The chairperson of the board, or a person designated by the chairperson, may apply to a judge of the district court of a county for an inspection warrant to inspect premises located in such county for the purpose of determining compliance with this act or with the terms of a permit issued under this act. The application shall be a sworn written statement, signed by the applicant, and shall include a description of the premises to be inspected, the reasons for the inspection and a statement that entry for the purpose of such inspection has been refused. The judge shall issue the warrant only if the judge determines from the application that there is probable cause to believe that the inspection is required to enforce the provisions of this act, that the inspection is within the lawful limit
