§ 75-2732 — Competitive grant program for partnership historic sites; eligibility; use of moneys; selection process; reports; rules and regulations; partnership historic sites grant fund

Kansas·Ch. 75 STATE DEPARTMENTS; PUBLIC OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES·Art. 27 STATE HISTORICAL SOCIETY
(a)Subject to the provisions of appropriation acts, the state historical society is hereby authorized to develop a program of competitive grants to be awarded to partnership historic sites as provided in this section. To be eligible to receive a grant pursuant to this section, such partnership historic site shall:
(1)Be listed on the national register of historic places or the register of historic Kansas places, be owned or operated by a public entity or an organization which is exempt from federal income taxation pursuant to section 501(c)(3) of the federal internal revenue code of 1986, develop and submit a business plan to be reviewed by the partnership historic site committee, not receive any state funding for operations, be open to the public or have the potential to be open to the
