Text

The secretary of the state historical society is hereby authorized to convey to the county of Riley the following described tract of land: Part of Section 12, Township 10 South, Range 7 East of the Sixth P.M. in the City of Manhattan, in Riley County, Kansas, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the iron pin marking the Northeast corner of Lot 4 in Julia A. Bailey Addition to the City of Manhattan, thence East along the South line of Claflin Road 155.4 feet, more or less, to the West line of Goodnow Avenue, thence South along the West line of said Goodnow Avenue 80 feet, thence West 157.82 feet, more or less, to the East line of said Lot 4 in Julia A. Bailey Addition to a point 80 feet South of the point of beginning, thence North along the East line of said Lot 4 in Julia
