Text

(a)There is hereby created a capitol preservation committee which will include the membership of the following:
(1)The statehouse architect;
(2)the executive director of the state historical society;
(3)the director of the Kansas creative arts industries commission;
(4)three members appointed by the governor;
(5)two members appointed by the president of the senate and one member appointed by the minority leader of the senate; and
(6)two members appointed by the speaker of the house of representatives and one member appointed by the minority leader of the house of representatives. The governor shall appoint the chair of the committee. The committee shall meet at least annually and more often upon call of the chairperson, but no more than four meetings shall be called in any year.
