Text

(a)There is hereby created the state racing fund in the state treasury.
(b)Except as otherwise provided by K.S.A. 74-8824 and 74-8835, and amendments thereto, all taxes on parimutuel wagering, admissions tax, application fees, license fees and fines which are collected by the commission shall be remitted to the state treasurer in accordance with the provisions of K.S.A. 75-4215, and amendments thereto. Upon receipt of each such remittance, the state treasurer shall deposit the entire amount in the state treasury to the credit of the state racing fund. All moneys credited to such fund shall be expended or transferred only for the purposes and in the manner provided by this act.
