Text
Each person subject to a background check pursuant to the Kansas expanded lottery act and K.S.A. 2024 Supp. 22-4715, and amendments thereto, shall be subject to a state and national criminal history records check which conforms to applicable federal standards for the purpose of verifying the identity of the applicant and whether the person has been convicted of any crime that would disqualify the person from engaging in activities pursuant to this act. The executive director of the Kansas racing and gaming commission is authorized to use the information obtained from the national criminal history record check to determine the person's eligibility to engage in such activities.
